Gimme Five

An excellent plenary activity, or revising starter activity that can be done in several ways.

At its easiest, students have to write a bullet point list of five things they learned today, either in their books, so you can “mark” it, or in groups so that they have something to contribute to a discussion.

Taking It Further

Students could interview a peers to find out three things that that this person has learned today.

Ask students to summarize an event, topic, source in five words or five entences.
