Regular readers will know that I was recently appointed as a Lead Practitioner by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. Lead Practitioners offer great value, amazingly practical and inspiring INSET under the SSAT Lead Practitioner Programme.
I’d like to invite you (and anyone else you might thing might be interested) to a Lead Practitioner seminar for teachers of History, Humanities, English, Languages and other subjects to help them to energise the use of ICT across the curriculum. During the seminar delegates will get a whole load of stuff, see some really great practical ideas, and eat a good lunch! The seminar will be held in my school on the 21st of November – all are welcome!
The cost of the seminar is only £69 per delegate. For that price, you will leave with examples on a USB memory key, as well as some great experiences and ideas for taking ICT forward in your subject area. Lunch will also be provided.
As a further incentive, if you see anything at the seminar that you think others in your school would be interested in, then the SSAT will make me available for INSET days (at £250 per day), which can be for whole school, or in department INSET. This inset can be delivered in twilight or whole day sessions. If your school is in West Berkshire LEA, then your school could claim up to £250 of funding towards the cost of two days of such INSET.
